We all love to sew and create, but who has the space to do at home.
Now your can bring your projects to the M Avery Designs Studio and work on them here in a semi-supervised environment, with all the right tools at your disposal.
Open lab time is your chance to rent out workspace here at our studio to work on any sewing or crafting project you might have.
Open lab time is available if an instructor is in the studio working and/or teaching a class. See schedule below or send us an email.
Open lab is NOT a lesson. Little questions can sometimes be accommodated, but the teacher on duty is there to teach a class, unfortunately not to help you. Please keep this in mind!

MUST MAKE RESERVATION VIA EMAIL!
Please note: Anyone utilizing our open lab time must either have some sewing experience, have taken our Intro to the Sewing Machine Class or one of our Private Sewing Lessons prior to using our sewing machines.
Don't worry if you cannot find a sewing class for what you'd like to learn how to sew!
We can easily match you up with one of our skilled sewing instructors for a guided one-on-one sewing lesson either in our sewing studio or online.
In private sewing lessons, the instructor will teach you what you'd like to learn and take you through just about any sewing projects on your wishlist.
Or come with a friend or family member and it becomes a duet lesson. You don't have to work on the same project or be at the same skill level to have a duet lesson with someone else. (Sorry we cannot match you up with someone.)
Private and duet lessons are "tailored" to meet your sewing needs. If you are a complete beginner, we'll start with the basics and go from there. If you have sewn before but want to learn something specific, we'll work on that during your sewing lesson.
Private & duet sewing lessons can be scheduled during any of the available hours listed in the following tabs. Please schedule your lesson at least 3-4 days in advance.
