Avery Designs is now offering private & group sewing lessons for adults, teens and kids at our comfortable & inspiring
studio in Hoboken NJ.
Choose your projects and Megan Avery, owner and skilled instructor will guide you through it step by step. If you have your own machine, but aren't quite sure how to use it, bring it along and we'll help you figure it out!

Private and group lessons are tailored (no pun intended) to your needs and desires. If you are a complete beginner, we'll start with the basics and go from there. If you have sewn before but want to learn something specific like pattern reading or for example, how to sew baby clothes, we can accomodate your lesson to allow this. Let us know what you want to get out of your sewing lessons and we'll make sure that happens.

Please
take note of our updated Cancellation Policy
- Effective Immediately:
Please
let us know as soon as you can if for some
reason you have to cancel or reschedule a
private sewing lesson. If you do
need to cancel or reschedule and it's within
48 hours of your scheduled lesson, you will
be charged a $10 fee. If you
do not show up for a scheduled private sewing
lesson, you will be charged a $20
no show fee.
