Private Handbag Workshops For Kids & Teens Now kids and teens age 10-18 can host their birthday parties and get togethers at the M Avery Designs Studio / Boutique. Get a group of kids and/ or teens together and we'll teach you all how to design, create & sew your own cute handbags. There is absolutely no sewing experience necessary!

Open for private workshops on Thursday & Friday nights from 6-8 or 7-9pm. Saturdays from 12-2, 3:30-5:30 or 7-9pm and Sunday 12-2 & 3:30-5:30pm. Give us a call with questions or to check availability. 201-876-1198.

Price is $275 for groups up to 8 participants. Each additional participant is $25 per person per 2 hour workshop. All supplies included. Each guest goes home with their finished handbag.

The party host chooses between SIX different style bags: Riley Clutch (new), Alice, Suzi Q , Heather (in two different sizes) or Meredith. See examples below. Everyone in the group makes the bag style the host chooses, in any fabric they would like.

Kids & Teens are also welcome to participate in any of our regularly scheduled Make Your Own Workshops, while in the company of a participating adult for $25.

Cancellation Policy: Please let us know as soon as you can if for some reason you have to cancel a scheduled private workshop. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy on all booked private & public workshops. If cancellation is made within 48 hours of your Private workshop date, your card will be charged a cancellation fee of $150 for loss of business. If cancellation is made within 48 hours of your Public workshop date, your card will be charged the $50 workshop fee for each participant you are holding space for.
