Advanced Beginner Level

The best part about sewing with knits is the freedom they give you when when you wear them and how they fit. An article of clothing made from a stretchy fabric doesn't have to fit as perfectly as one made from a woven, so knits eliminate the pressure of making something perfectly. And they're so comfortable to wear.

Still we often hear how daunting it is for new stitchers to tackle projects using stretch or knit fabrics. If this sounds like you, this is your class. In our four week workshop, we'll tackle four different projects using stretch knits. You'll learn how sew your garments so the seam stretches so that the stitching won't pop as you bend and move in it. It's not as hard as it seems, we promise!

Please Note: This price also includes 5 weeks of UNLIMITED FREE Open Lab hours. Unlimited hours begins the first day of class, continues through out the four week class and ends one week after the last class (Open lab normally $10/hour)
